Found this at GREAT time ! They were digging up a baseball field that just happen to be a really old site . My friend Chris told me about a field that was being dug up for drainage reasons . It was behind an Old Town Hall, near a School that was dated 1905 ! We were excited as we headed out that wonderful morning ready for battle with any Metal Detectorist that got in our way .
Well we got there an .... NoBODY !! I was floored that no one was there in that maybe 10 plus acres of land . Well a few bottle searchers that's it. I had one of " good feelings ".
Long story short, we found Silver coins from about 1895 to 1940's ! Yeah 1895 nickel, I got plus wheaties, ink well, old bullet (whole), Mercs up the yin yang and some other trinkets, buckles, etc.
Must of been a Fair there Annually . Houses anyways .
Here's a Annual Fair Coin (undated) . Looking at the pictorial, this is very old , has the COMPLETE Our Father prayer on back .
