This just the way it toned if you want to name it . Here's a good example of what a split clad layer error .

It is really hard to tell as your photos have to high a magnification. You be able to have a photo of the FULL Obverse and Reverse of the coin. Based on what I can see looks like toning.

Even though I seem to fail at all my attempts I look at it as learning. The copper color and nothing else is the key. Thank you.

Something else you need to consider is that on the photos you posted we really can't see to much of the color of the coins. What we are getting is washed out grayish color which makes it look like toning. You need to find a way to show the color of your coins when taken them. Remember if you want us to look at a coin you say is missing a clad layer we need to the true color of the side which you think is good and the true color of the questionable side other wise it will just appear as toning.

Thank you once again, I wondered if others saw things on the coins. I figured it was my imagination. I watch a lot of your videos but apparently I missed that one.
