Not the prettiest LC I have picked up but one that i think will become a beautiful coin after full conservation :D
Here is the before... she should arrive in the next day or 2 and I will post pic's at each stage of conservation...
Note: This is not "cleaning" a coin, it will be proper conservation as done by the PCGs.
New conservation project for the $20 large cent set...

1. Post a front and back image of your coin with a specific question about what you’re seeing or asking about and one coin per topic.

6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.
7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. Re: New conservation project for the $20 large cent set...
regretably.. my good camera has died... so please bear with the poor pics my phone takes :D
after being boiled in distilled water in a muslin tea bag. You can see most of the "particulate" matter has come off leaving just the bright yellow of old verdigris After soaking in verdi-care for 20 minutes... This has removed much of the old verdigris and will prevent any recurence later In the end, I'm happy with the results :D Color is off a bit in the last pic is a darker brown then it appears in the picture
