worth sending off?

#1 Unread post by CoinBoy2 »

Is there any cleaning or reprocessing (any problems) on this coin ? Would it get 66 or higher? If it doesn't have any problems, I might just send it and see what I get. :)

Have you compared this against other graded coins?

Yes I did .I thought there was some old cleaning or something done to the surface of this one (maybe not, I can't tell on steel wheat pennies) . According to other graded coins, it looks like a 66 or a 67 .What's your opinion?

Sorry, I don't believe coins can be "Graded" with a photo......
I'm sure someone else will chime in.

As Paul said, impossible to tell from a photo, but a better picture that is clear when zoomed would give a better idea on an opinion of what the picture shows.

Also make sure you are weighing the cost of slabbing against what it would be worth at any grade level. A lot of nice looking coins end up slabbed where it cost more to slab than the coin is worth. And remember its a gamble anyway even f the coin seems like it should grade very high.

No one an tell you if it's worth it, you just have to take that chance on your own.
