well I've read about matte proofs , what makes me confused is the edges that is different than other 1909 vdb that I have

Possibly a proof? Sorry for the poor image quality.
I'm saving up for a real macro set up soon. If you want me to take pictures outside the plastic holder I will.
I normaly would, only well I'm nervous to.🏴‍☠️
I did find all the die markers as described per Mr Flynn. And it's very non reflective and almost a flat burnt umber color from arms length straight forward.
At an angle, however, it's like diamonds and multiple tones pop out from everywhere. The rim does have a wire all around and the edges are very square full circle.
I know the pictures are not as convincing.
It's really unlike any of the others I have(15) or so to compare. Thanks for your time.
