1974 D Keneddy Half

Not sure were this fits as far as a collectable, I see that the E & R in Liberty are a bit short of coming to the hair on Kennedy's head. Is this more common ?

When you see lines on the coin like this then it means the surface of the die was messed with at the mint to remove clash marks. Often part or all of a letter is removed. It is well known and common.
