I had to go to the sheriffs office today, to renew my Cancelled Carry Permit. After my care giver went in to let them know I needed to use the handicap entrance. Just as she was about ready push my wheel chair, she spotted a nickel on the top of the trash bins. It was about 3/4's away from falling in. She knows I collect coins, and when she spotted it she just picked it up and handed it to me. I completely forgot about it until about 7PM EST. When I pulled it out to look at it, it was only 2019-D. Oh well, so just because, I turned it over and there they were 5 beautiful steps, not scratch, bag mark or anything at all that would bring doubt. Yes I know it's a 2019, and no I will not be sending it in (grading cost over value). I am just going to put it in a 2X2 just to see my first ever 5 FS nickel.
Sorry about not having photo's of it, but am still trying to set up my photo area. It's kind of hard to get it moved from upstairs to downstairs unless I have a care giver here to help.

Re: Nickel in Trash
I am just a little bit confused by your statement. With the anymore at the end it sounds like FS are not common anymore, or was it meant to mean they do?
Thanks
