Hi guys. So I saw a post in one of my FB groups where a guy had a token that had the IHC on the obverse and on the reverse it said, G W WAYLAND GOODS DRUGS MEDICINES NOTIONS & C JAMESTOWN IND. So I Google those same words and come up with a article in CoinHelp referenced in the title above asking foer this token because it is the only one to have been made. So I tell the guy and he says there is no way to contact anyone to say ,'hey I have that token'. So provided he truly believes he has this token how would he go about contacting somebody. Thanks for any help you may have.

This token is an IN-470-A-1a
There were two backs made for this one. One is "common" with only a couple known examples. The other is "rare" with only one known example.
You may have the "common" one: Die 1046.

And, I now have a photo to put on my Civil War Token page since I have never been able to find one.
http://coinhelp.net/jamestown-indiana/

This was produced by John Stanton for this store and is known to be the only type of token produced for this store.

Read the disclaimer!
In VF-EF, this could range from $1,250-$1,750, IF it is the common die.

Disclaimer: This could be a fake. (I don't think so.) At this price range, it is worth having the token certified by a TPG to guarantee genuineness.

P.S. The person to contact for more information on this token is Steve Hayden.

Yep, those were my web pages. The individual token material was originally published in several forms. The info on die sinkers, attribution, value, etc are original. I was just finding a better way of presenting it so someone like you could actually use the information. Hope you found it helpful.

I did. Even earned some brownie points and an apology. Yours was the 1st result I got from Google when all the words on the reverse were entered, so idky nobody else came up with it. I find it amazing that you know how many were made when there were so few. Must have taken some serious research. I hope dudes token is the real deal and I hope he uses the contact info you gave. I am also very happy that you now have your missing photo. Rewards are always nice.
