While roll hurting found quarter which appears not to have a copper core? Other than that looks like a pretty normal business strike... if anything it may be just, very, slightly thicker. Weighs 5.6g.

:eureka:
5.6700 g is the spec weight for these, so you are within mint specification here.

Do you own any type of magnification instruments, such as a 10 X loup?
Sometimes the planchet blanking machine will push the cladding across the entire edge surface when the blank is punched out.
This may be what you have here.
You will need to take a very close look under magnification to see the copper color... JMO

Welcome and thanks for the images. Nicely done and Pahl1 gives real good insight if you can look at the edge.

weight of 5.6 ... I've added pics of some areas of the side. I think I see a line where the top and bottom clad layer meets. I'm new to coin hunting/collecting so my microscope is a cheap one. (LED lighting doesn't seem to work well). ALSO THANK YOU FOR YOUR ONLINE VIDEOs !! they're great and keep me on track...

keep in mind, that when using your scope, it is possible to get "too close", to what you're snapping a picture of!

Thanks ... I’ve been trying to get the closest pictures and cropping them not realizing I’m ending up too close. Thanks again for the heads up!

Whoops, I guess I really didn't give you an answer there. :sos:
I can't tell from your pictures, the "light reflection" is too high for the closeness of this snap...

:eureka:
Try backing off bit, and changing your lighting. You can also try different angles, with different lighting.
