2013 Obv Design of a 2012 ASE?

#1 Unread post by budung »

Year 2013
Year 2013
Is it a 2013 obverse design on the coin I have lately submitted? When the coin is compared with a 2013 design there are more similarities based on the images in the US Mint Official site. For instance, the stalk or stem of the laurel and oak held by Liberty, the fingers on her hand, layout of the land where Liberty is standing, fingers on her left foot, and thickness of the sole of the sandals. Your feedback will be a great help. Thank you.

You're trying to compare washed out images with a more natural image.

...was there a 'obverse design change' from 2012 - 2013 ??

:eureka:
keep in mind, these U.S. Mint "renderings", are just that.

hugeeyes notice the heavy 'shading' difference from image 1 to 3. hugeeyes
.......making the 'light source' appear to be coming from k9

"lighting issues" can be a real fooler !
