Genuine 1913 Liberty Nickel and some numismatic history I own

#1 Unread post by Zaph0dd »

Of course, I don't own the coin, thats owned by the ANA.

But what I do have is this curious photograph with a "interesting" inscription on the back, I obtained this quite by chance as it was being used as a bookmark in a 1962 copy of Yeomans redbook I picked up from a book dealers about 20 years ago, how it ended up there, in the north of the UK is anyones guess. (along with this photo were a bunch of photographic postcards with some popular coin varieties on them and a magazine clipping about the washington quarter from 1958).
A real 1913 nickel at the side to show its size

Something a bit different
