From wht little knowledge I no proof coins were minted in San Francisco iam i correct? This coin with no mint mark would come from Philly...which means business struck..this coin has a luster to it nearly impossible to see details on obverse under micro scope. On proof coins and I hav a couple (1974 Kenndy half and 1978 dime) both s mint mark the finish especially the head has more of a satin finish or look, this coin is luster from rim to rim....iam learning....i guess the question iam asking is should i get it graded?

I stand corrected....proof coins were made in Philadelphia until 1968....after 68 San Francisco.....well back to the drawing board...happy hunting....

All proof coins in 1962 don't have mint marks and all proofs have FS, that is very common. Please only post one coin per topic. Thanks
