Mars - What's the big deal? Yes - coin related

Yes - this IS about coins. Bear with me.

There is so much talk about going to Mars today. One of the most fun items that I own is a genuine rock from Mars:

I enjoy showing this to my friends when they come to visit. The resulting "Oohs" and "Aahs" are generally followed by,
Friend: "is it real?"
Me: Of course.
Friend: How did you get it? How can you be sure its a real Mars rock?
Me: I am absolutely sure it is legitimate and can prove it.
Friend: "How?"
Me: I went to mars and got it for myself. I picked it up right in front of the train depot. The Martians didn't seem to mind. The ones I talked to were very friendly people.
Friend: Uh huh.....

Well, Since I own a legitimate rock from Mars, when I saw the following eBay item, I had to have it. This Martian coin is the size of a Morgan dollar:

Brass or (copper?) actually :)
Yes...that was an attempted smart comment!

So Sal, can YOU say you have been to Mars?
