Re: Wanted to say hello as well as provide an opinion to all of you fine numismatists
Hey Dragon, just to emphasize what Earl said, those sites will teach you what to look for, it will save you time and humiliation. Now if you really want somethings special, go here, http://www.vamworld.com/wiki/Home, it will consume you, it will be like the search for my lost "precious".

2021 Kennedy half dollar "JAWS" Metal teeth
Good Afternoon, I am interested in a posting on Ebay 313826728782 JAWS 2021 Kennedy Half Dollar. Is it fake? Also, is this the "one must have" feeder error of a lifetime and a must have for machine error collectors?
I only have the picture from the listing.

Re: What is this Black mark on my 1879-S Morgan?
I literally handle Morgans with these marks weekly, graded and ungraded. I've examined them under the scope, tried to remove them in the past, so I knew it would not come off. It can't it's a planchet impurity. It is always going to look like this. I don't know why my answer was ignored here.

Go to error-ref.com and look up die chip.
Also watching the short videos at the link will show how something like this is impossible to have been deliberately engraved into the die
