Just lint on the coin, they wouldn't stay on the coin like this after being circulated.

Re: 1978 EISENHOWER D MINT MARK- .. FEEDBACK

As a die is used, the details can become worn. Thus the mint mark can look different. Yours is just typical.

Re: 1982 2.5 Lincoln cent-vs 1982 3.1 Lincoln are these still valuable?

Hey Magic, On this topic, you're probably thinking of the 1982-D small date on copper, which is the rare one worth big bucks. If you do a search on Daniel's YouTube channel, you'll find many videos on this topic where he explains the facts about this transition from copper to zinc with Lincoln cents...

Re: 1934 Indian head nickel looks cleaned? is there value?

Your pictures are going to have to be taken so we can see the details of your coins.

There is no way to be positive about anything in your pictures except its a 1934 buffalo nickel with either D or S mint mark.

Worth a dollar or so but your images are not that great to determine much about your coin. You can also use ebay sold auctions or buy a 2022 Redbook to help you with coin values. We well them here https://portsmouthcoinshop.com/product/ ... ice-guide/

Re: significance of the 1982 NO MINT 3.1g and 2.5g Lincoln cents ?

Having no Mint mark on any cent means it was struck in Philadelphia (except the 1922). The coin you are looking to find is the 1982 small date D (Denver)

Re: 1934 Indian head nickel looks cleaned? is there value?

One suggestion to your (simple and great!) diagram Sal. I find it force focuses the camera onto the coin if I put a two liter bottle cap (or something small to elevate) under the coin.

Nope, sorry . The costs associated with the grading fees outweigh the Value of the coin . ( approx. less than $1 in this condition)

Re: 2020 Lincoln-reflections and Honest Abes nose? Please Help.

Please check error-ref.com and search the term "doubling."

This will give you the answers you need when you find what you think may be legitimate doubling on a coin.

Re: 2018-d-lincoln- mechanical?

It would be best to get pictures where the camera is looking down on top of the area in question. The lighting then would be more uniform and the details would be easier for us to see and evaluate.
