I am sorry, but at present the best I can say is yes, this is a real picture. Please put yourself into my shoes to try to understand. I open a post from the forum entitled, "What's the chances this is real?" I see a picture of a screen showing a 4 on some coin. That is everything I am give...

If you feel we are not correct in our assessment of your coin then post it on a different site for a second opinion. You have to remember Daniel eats, sleep, and works coins he has seen quite a few of those type coins. Then you have Paul, who just so happens is a CONECA WI. State Attributor. The re...

Re: Roosevelt Dime 1995P Obverse Mint Strike Error
I feel I need to add one final thought. We had a gentleman who not so long ago post his coin on this board, and said he had a mule clash. He did not want believe what he was told and did not bother to look up what a mule clash was. Everybody told this individual that it was a Clashed Die. Well he d...

A heads up for you: Since NONE of the experts who replied on this coin have it in their hands, they CANNOT arbitrarily say it has glue or was glued together. What you see is not what I feel! I respect your opinions, but as a novice I see and FEEL a mint damaged coin. Thanks Chuck Some of us on here ...

I would send you a $100 bill if this exact coin in these images comes back a mint error from PCGS, better yet, I would pay your grading fees as well. That is how confident I am that this coin has a after mint substance on it. I’ve seen so many coins like this, search the forum and you can too, that ...

It must be a doubled die before you look for die markers. Die markers don't mean a coin is a doubled die.

It IS a question of education and that is how we do it in this forum. I am not spending anymore time defending it. Re: 20?? Shield Cent Zinc Rot? Does Anyone Have Any Idea?
I would like to be corrected here if I am wrong, but due to the definition of a delamination, I do not think that term can apply to a Zincoln. From error-ref.com: Lamination* errors can develop before or after the strike. They are generally restricted to solid-alloy coins. A Zincoln is plated. It wo...

Hello and Welcome ! I will tell you what, the penny is worn and therefore weighs less than the approximate weight of 3.11g . The .60g or so less is about the weight of a post-it to give you an idea of the difference . Here is a chart for tolerances ( click to enlarge) ----
