No. this coin is just a common penny. You'd lose a bunch of money on it. You'd be lucky if you could sell that coin GRADED for under a dollar.

1892 Barber Quarter Help
This is a photo I took of a barber quarter I cracked out of an old "soapbox" anacs slab. It was previously graded at AU55. Those old anacs slabs are often very conservatively graded. I cracked it out and Im going to submit it to pcgs. I personally think that its about an Au58 but can you t...

looks like post mint damage. die cracks usually don't occur in that nature. Typically, Die cracks are straight lines, Not curvy swirly things.

The rim "damage" at 6 o'clock (reverse) and the scratches on the obverse fields keep me at AU58/MS61, IMHO. I have a similar one that was graded AU58 by NGC - nice coin, though. Yours does seem to have more original luster left on the coin than mine does. I'll have to dig it out and check...

To me, it looks like way back in the day, someone put a piece of copper wire on the coin and used a blow torch to melt it onto it, and then it was circulated for years and that's why it looks like part of the coin but hey, I've never seen anything like it so who knows.
