Hey G3, great pickup. The common damage that occurs with these and many "older" coins includes, holed (a hole drilled to hang from a neckless), corrosion (some of these are found buried in the ground), cleaned and harshly cleaned (wizzed, sandpaper, bon ami, comet, sandblasting), details (...

Thanks for this glimpse. It would be fun to have read a transliterated copy like that though. I speak Spanish and its fun trying to figure out Latin, Italian, Greek and other languages in writing.
