New pickup from Northern Nevada Coin! :)
Hey everyone, Today I was in Nevada and I stopped by Northern Nevada Coin which is a coin shop right next to the Carson City Mint. This is what I picked up :). A 1799 Draped Bust Dollar! I never thought I’d own one of these so I’m super happy to have it. D634671B-3CD3-4B5A-95F0-C925CA06240F.jpeg 5A7...

Hey guys!!
Hello! My name is Jen!! Coin hunting is a hobby that I’ve dabbled with since I was a kid. I especially loved trading clad for silver with all the suckers at the vending machine in high school. Nowadays - it’s a super awesome way for my husband and I to hang out and spend some quality time. He too ha...

Re: Dime error or no?
Hello. I think what happened is someone tried to somehow create what's called a clash die error by smacking one coin over another damaging the coin . There usually not this messy . Clashed Dies : This mishap occurs when opposing dies collide with each other when a planchet fails to be fed into the s...

Re: Dime error or no?
Your coin is not in good condition, it has been cleaned, circulated and has a substance on the obverse like clear glue. I can see the air bubbles. So the coin is damaged now.

Re: My first Morgans
They are my pet peeve because they can scratch one coin to another if not crimped with pliers . I personally like the adhesive 2x2 holders for bulk coins and for my favorites I use the "do it self style " slabs that just snap together like these .

Re: 1854 Seated Half
I would not buy coins like this. The condition of the coin could hide the fact it isn't authentic.

Re: Could Someone please identify this "coin"
It looks like a civil war token or store card. Most of them were issued in the north during the civil war and were dated 1863. It originally said “not” one cent. “Not” was scratched out. And I can vaguely see 1863 under “one cent” Looks to me like Die F375 or F375a here http://coinhelp.net/not-one-c...

Honestly, let's face it... NOBODY with even the slightest knowledge of coins would sell a 1943 copper cent.. we not talking an unknown rarity here, but the most searched for rarity of them all with the greatest number of people "in the know" about it's value. IT"S a FAKE and the selle...

Funny Story I would Like to share
So ever since I was a kid and saw a movie that had a briefcase with money, I wanted that! Now as an adult I know that would cost a ton of money to get even if I do as just 1 dollars; a few years ago I got a $50 stack of $1 dollar bills; new and wrapped, and I thought was great, I just love money, th...

Re: Just got a PCGS slabbed MS-70 2021 type 1 Silver Eagel struck at West Point but it has no mint mark
Silver Eagles are struck at all the mints and the bullion is struck at West Point and Philadelphia, but they don't put a mint mark on them. They come in a green monster box and the straps have the mint they come from, I've opened a few in my videos to show people. PCGS puts the mint the monster box ...

Re: 1967 Dime, Reverse Error?
I know it appears to be something having to do with the flame, but there was nothing like this done at the mint. It has to be post mint. The pictures also. to my eyes, make it look like some sort of staining/paint on the surface?
