The mint sets starting in 2005 are satin finish but they're very common.

Not bad, dealers are taking these to the bank but they're worth a little more than face.

Sounds like it's worth a try, maybe a prize for the winners.

I like the idea. I would say also give them about a pound of world coins. Collecting world coins from spare change is what got me interested in the hobby.
Whenever I would go to a convenience store and they handed me a world coin in my change I always loved it.
