Re: 1966 Lincoln Cent DDO FS-101 Please Confirm

Take a very close look at the tops of the "U" and the final "6" in the date.... Using your images here for attribution, I would say that this is Not the FS – 101 As most of you already know, variety attribution of coins with very close doubling, ( … something that's not obvious ...

Re: 1966 Lincoln Cent DDO FS-101 Please Confirm

I agree with the VV being a terrible example to use. Wexler's pics/example are much better in this case.

Re: Any chance at a MS67? 87-P Half

Found this tonight and was shocked at how good it looked. Would need an MS67 to make it worthwhile. What say you? (Forgive me if I'm crazy for even asking) Crazy for asking...no way! Re: 1894 Morgan- Straight Grade?

I don't know, tough when it's not "in hand" BUT there is some roughness on the upper hair and the cap even looks off in the pics. It's just really banged up for not much wear...seems like an obvious one to get authenticated and graded. AU-ish Let us know. Cheers, Kenny P.S. ...and the wing...

Re: 1894 Morgan- Straight Grade?

It's really hard to tell because light in photos can make things look different than they really are. It looks to me like the hair above Liberty's ear is slightly grayish which would indicate to me an AU-55-58 coin. The jump between AU and MS-60 is considerable for this date though, so if that grayi...
