Re: 1943 Lincoln Wheat cent copper? 3 grams
I agree with Daniel.
Your pics were used below.
Compare the change of direction in the curves on the "spines" of the 3 to what is on your coin. The 3's spine is not a smooth curve like that of a 9.

Re: 1982 D Lincoln Cent small date? copper 3.05 gr
Plating/damage issue. Look how small the item that resembles a D is compared to an actual D.

Re: Blank Planchet, ERROR COIN 2.35 grams Magnetic? help
Keep in mind, using the correct nomenclature is very helpful....
A "Planchet", has raised edges and has been sent through the upsetting mill.
A "Blank", is just that. It is the flat round disc punched from strip stock.

Re: Blank Planchet, ERROR COIN 2.35 grams Magnetic? help
It brings to mind how my grandfather used to have penny change machines in his business (yes - many moons ago). He had a decent sized box of both copper slugs and magnetic slugs that he would get in those machines. Not saying its what you have...just a memory.

Re: 19?? Lincoln Cent BS ERROR OR MINT? HELP
In your pictures here, this appears to be a penny that was covered in some type of foreign substance, possibly glue, and then sandwiched between 2 other coins...
:eureka:
I would need to inspect it firsthand to tell you what those other coins were.

Re: 1943 Lincoln Wheat cent copper? 3 grams
I know it's a 1919 because teen cents don't have the same strike or appearance of coins from the 1940's, the design and rims are not exactly the same. I examined thousands of coins in my career.

Re: 19?? Lincoln Cent BS ERROR OR MINT? HELP
I agree with what Paul says, however, and I respect Paul's posts and opinions, I believe the coins were a penny and a quarter. When rotating and zooming the pics, on the one side it appears to have backwards lettering from another penny (implying impression from that penny). The other side (last pic...

Re: CASH CHINA COIN? HELP CANT FIND INFO ANYWHERE
Bottom one is based on a Qing Dynasty Emperor Daoguang copper cash.
(Rotate 90 degrees counterclockwise for optimal viewing.)
Top one does not match any real Chinese coin I am aware of, so I think this is a token or fantasy piece. Also does not look as old as 1820-30 to my eye.

This is not a foreign coin. I did a pile of online research. This is unknown to token collectors. What it is -- is a mystery. I love mysteries. Hope you do too!
