That is not cud. It is a die chip though. It would have be on the edge of the coin for it to be called a cud. As for the Doubled Die, I see Die Deterioration.
Thanks

Re: 1959 penny in good enough condition to grade?
If i had condition rarity, gold and/or silver, i would use NGC. For common date low-end coins, i would use ANACS since they are cheaper.

Re: 1959 penny in good enough condition to grade?
Keep in mind, that is important to understand "What" coin grading is…
… & "Why" coins are 'graded'…
My gotcoins: here
Coins are encapsulated for only 4 reasons:
1. Long-term storage
2. Authenticity
3. Variety Attribution
4. Proof Designation

Re: 1964 Nickel Word cents misspelled & DDO
It's the result of damage to the coin you can see marks from circulation all over this coin and one of them marks hit the S. Common and damaged coins are not worth pursuing.

Re: 1983 Penny Lincoln’s face turned DD, turned RPM,
Paul, the D mint mark which may/is caused by heavy circulation. Could this possibly be a RPM? Yet at same time my mind is telling me nope just POST MINT DAMAGE.
Thanks

Re: 1973 Double Ear?
No it's a mark from circulation.
