1917 walking liberty half dollar question?

Does dipping this coin makes the toning goes away? Should I dip it at all?

I would not mess with it and it looks cleaned. I just went through this with a couple 1916 examples and one went to NGC and the labeled it cleaned

..... Keep in mind, that when you "Dip" your coin,....... you are chemically altering the surface of the coin !!
