1979 quarter I found going through change

#1 Unread post by MichaelShields » Tue Dec 04, 2018 1:34 pm

Not sure about this coin but there are many things going on where letters appear out of line maybe wrong alignment on cladding process on both sides yes there is some after mint damage but still lots of other things going on with this quarter. Opinions and comments are appreciated, I have some other close up pictures as well.

I should have mentioned that I found in my quarter container a unmarred 1979 quarter for comparison :)

These coins are just damaged and damaged coins can look like a lot of things going on. What you want to find is a coin that is uncirculated with something going on.
