:yourock: My first post will be a coin I found last night in a bag full of coins a friend gave me. Can someone help me identify if this is the 1982 D small date? I’m not too sure on the 2 and 8....and what is that lighter strip down the middle going through Mr Lincoln? Thank you!

The video will tell you what to look for, but just to confirm, this is a large date.

i agree this is the LD,.....

as for the "discoloration" running down lincoln & on the rim,...
it looks (from these pics) as if some sort of liquid "changed" the natural tone (color) here ... JMO
