2000 SC Quarter Double Earlobe?

Hi Community, is this 2000 P Quarter considered a doubled ear variety?

Interesting......
The doubling does not appear to follow the exact contour of the lower ear.....

If you look closely you see a slight doubling below the hair of the sideburn also ??

Possible flow or chatter....... hugeeyes :mad: :confused:

Hi Paul, so the doubling has to follow the exact contour of the lower ear to be considered a doubled die? So would this be considered extra metal? I may be wrong but, I say this because the doubling looks raised to me, and when I compared it to other state quarters, I did not see the same under the ear of the other quarters. Also, thank you for pointing out to me that there is slight doubling below the hair under the side burn. Thank you.

This could be what's called "Flow"..... :dunno
It's difficult to do attributions with an online photo.
