1956 Jefferson FS?

#1 Unread post by DSCoins »

I am looking to get your opinion on whether this 1956 nickel might be able to get a FS, if I were to send it to be graded?

It needs to be a 64 steps it appears to me that you were missing the bottom step of the six..

They will give FS to five steps and NGC designates both.

I am not sure what item I hate ??
....... Because I love microscopes (George hates microscopes),....... I need them for what I do, "Coin Variety Mapping".

.... Here it comes ... I have been tracking many online numismatic sales websites for years now, and the zillions of novice and unexperienced GREEDY individuals who believe they can just jump in, call themselves a 'error/variety expert', and start selling coins, is now off the charts!

:eureka:
Most don't even know what they're looking at, much less so, have any ability to even use a USB microscope, ... or properly image the subject they are trying to focusing on........
:s Sorry, someday that needed to be said. :s

Anywhoo, I personally would not pay to have this coin encapsulated.

OK Paul, I apologize to George then. :w I under stand about what you are saying. Having not being able to hunt any coins at all since 2014, until about 3-4 months +/- ago, I tried to jump in with both feet. I found out that I had just plain forgotten more then half of what I used to know. Because of you and Daniel I am slowly starting to remember. For that, I want thank you both from the bottom of heart, for your patience, and honest comments you post, while not belittling or trying to be derogatory. I really wish there were people out there like you two. It would make collecting fun again along with bring more into this hobby. Again Paul, to you and Daniel, I thank you both.
