Re: 1982P LINCOLN CENT DOUBLED DIE OBVERSE
I am sure not seeing anything on that coin. There are 3 DDO's for 82 large date at least listed on coppercoins. In my opinion, the devices just don't show the thicknesses for the DDO's. None of the markers show up are well.
I went to coppercoins and here are the links of the DDO's that were listed. Take a look at your coin, then look for the markers. To be one of the DDO's your coin has to match the markers exactly. Depending on what you are using to photo the coin with lighting comes in to play when it comes to these BU type shiny coins. You can turn the coin and take photo after photo and no two will be alike it seems like. One looks like you see splits at a corner and turn it a little bit and it disappears. Tough to get good pics of these really beautiful, bright reflective coins. Oh yea the links:

Re: 1982P LINCOLN CENT DOUBLED DIE OBVERSE
What kind of scope are you using? The scope may be fine, it may be more lighting. My USB scope uses led lights in a circular pattern around the scope. I can turn off half or all. Always turn the coin at least 90°or less, more pictures or views and see if those same views show the same split serifs or widening of a device then you probably can feel pretty about what you have found. Then go to a site like coppercoins where you can look at the date and mint and see if there is a listed variety you may have and if so then check the markers. Sorry to wonder here, but there are times I shut down the USB lights and use a flashlight so I can put the light at a low angle and the direction I want to shine from. Photographing coins is no different than people if the lighting is wrong the picture will not be good. Another suggestion is getting a light tent which is just a white tent where you put the light on the outside to diffuse it or inside and reflect it off the walls. I facet gems so taking pictures of very small finished stones is hard to do unless I use a tent to try to move the light around to get the best light.

I think I use the same scope you described,it’s perfect for circulated coins that has no luster but when you try it with a brand new coin it just goes crazy. I will try your suggestion and thank you so much for your explanation.
