The nine looks flat but not sure about wider. What did you compare this too?

Mint marks are not doubled die before 1989 since they were hand punched into the die after it was already doubled.

I'm confused because I'm not sure what you are saying Daniel. Mike was asking about 1mm-0M1 which is an over mint mark (D/D/S according to CopperCoins.comhttp://coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate ... _state=mds), not a DDO.

But on Mikes coin the die crack marker on the left wheat looks to be too high, so I would say it isn't OM1.

My bad, saw the 001 and was thinking doubled die because he had he entire date imaged as well. Sorry Mike. You then said split in the mint mark and got more confused. Jees. I need to slow down on my responses.
