1955D Wheat Cent Doubled Eye.....

1955D Wheat Cent Doubled Eye.....
So this took me a minute to figure out what I was looking at. A 19555 Lincoln Cent. Seems to have some MD on the 1 and 9 of the date. Then look up to the eye and looks to be straight up doubled. No flat slide looking shelfy thing but d. o. u. b. l. e. d.
Whatcha think gentlemen? Strike doubling tricks? Looking for more info but......

Ok, got all excited..lol...see it in the CP guide....so im sharing then...lol....never noticed the listing before nd missed it on my cheat sheet......so yea...look...take a look...TWICE!!! lol

Based on the eye, alone, I'd say you have a great chance at 1955D DDO-001 (FS-101)

Thanks...lol...ya look through so many pieces that when you do find one thats a home run, no question somethings special, it does tend to be exciting nd can get ya jumping the gun nd running to post it before checking all the literature nd lists.....is a really cool error that I had overlooked reading about. Keep in mind, the reason they call them "RARE", maybe, just maybe, you need to look at thousands of them to find one.
