Uncentered Broadstrike?

Hello
Found this and just wanted to confirm my id.

1986 Lincoln cent
Off center both obv and rev
Slightly LARGER than a normal cent
Small portion of TRUST being cut into

Since its larger than normal, it would have to have been struck out of collar so its a broadstrike, correct?
And off center so an Off center broadstrike?

Crazy that no one caught this since 1986 whatever it is!!!!!

It is struck off center, I don't see how you determined it was larger than a regular cent. You can't "eye-ball" that.

I agree, nice off-center hit.

To be considered "Broadstruck" it should be larger than 19 mm in diameter.

I put it against a normal cent and the diameter is larger as well as the thickness being thinner. Ill take a cpl pics of that when I get home. IM NOT ARGUING, JUST ASKING for clarification....lol....the difference between an off center and an off center broadstrike is just struck in or out of collar, correct? So in collar should be same size and thickness and out of collar would be larger and thinner, right?

An off center is struck a bit out of collar so can be distorted but this wouldn't be struck out of collar, two different things. Here's a good reference for you http://www.error-ref.com/?s=off+center

Now I'm not sure I understand properly.

Aren't all off center strikes struck out of collar?
The collar would hold the planchet in the proper position for the strike. Without the collar, the planchet can be out of position when it is struck.

There's all types of off centers and varying degrees of being struck partially in collar or by planchet and other coins and such and that causes a distortion but it's not a broad strike off center or struck out of collar completely. The erro-ref link explains this in more detail.

Thanks Daniel.
I have been thinking that any coin not completely centered and seated in the collar was struck out of collar.
Another little tweek for my noggin/memory.

It is partially correct just depends on what type of off center, some even show the indention of the collar die where it overlapped.
