Machine doubling

#1 Unread post by wade.hendryx »

Image I hear that machine doubling, I think that's what you call it is collectible to some people now. I found this and was wondering is this machine doubling? Can't see it with the bear eye but under magnification just about the whole word State among other letters are doubled in one way or another. Can anybody help me with this? And let me know if I'm saying it right? Picture attached

It is either strike doubling or plating disturbance.

Is it worth keeping? I'm going to anyways, just because it is different. Is strike doubling the same as double die.

Strike doubling is completely different than "DIE DOUBLING".

Definitely keep things that you find interesting because it will help you learn, at least it did me.

Years later when you rediscover them it will make more sense to you.
