It's just damage on the coin and doesn't add any value. The Philadelphia Mint only put a mint mark on Lincoln Cents in 2017, so any cent without a mint mark is normal. If you find a no mint mark in a proof case then that is worth something.

We have lots of error coins, so all errors are not worth anything? What errors are worth?

Most error coins are not worth much if anything, they must be dramatic or have pet name like Speared Bison (2005 Jefferson Nickel) or Wounded Eagle (Sacagawea Dollar). Some doubled dies are rare but most are not.

I suggest you watch the videos on my youtube channel they contain information on what to look for. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIYtW3 ... BmXg71pXQw

Not to diminish your enthusiasm but any coins with damage (like the two posted so far) will not be worth much more than face value.
Damage on coins, referred to as PSD (Post Strike Damage), is not an error.

The "large" nose on Lincoln is the result of the zinc core under the copper plating degrading and oxidizing. As it oxidizes it will deform the area around it. (Think of iron rusting.)
