I am seeing a large amount of old nickels like the one in my images, that does not have a mint mark on the front or back. Am I to assume they are all from the P mint or should I be looking for something else ?
Thanks

Re: Nickels with no mint mark
They're all from the Philadelphia Mint when they don't have a mint mark. If it's in a proof set without a mint mark then that's a different story unless it is before 1968.

Is there a reason why they decided not to put marks on the coins in Philadelphia Mint?
