1977 penny S OVER D
I have this 1977 penny and after looking at it for awhile I noticed it was a lil different anyway I used my Jewelers eye (x60) and turned out to be the s over d.... But I wanted a 2nd oppinion cuz oh how ur mind will make u believe what's not their lol thank guys... If u need a better pic don't hesitate to ask

This is a damaged and circulation coin but not an over mint mark or S over D, there's not such thing for 1977.

"CONTACT MARKS" can, & usually do, make 'mintmarks' appear as something other than the intended design.
i agree here that this is 'post mint damage'
