7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. PM’s are for issues, technical and personal, but not for coin questions (refer to number 5 on this list). Hi I have been looking at coins for a while now but have recently come across some that I've never seen or heard of
I have bicentennial s series uncirculated that has two kind of sideways triangle shaped puncture s in them on the cheek and nose but where the silver was supposed to go in them it is kind of piled up on the edge of them also have no mint mark 81 Lincoln penny and a 72 with lots of things will attach pics any info or value guide would b

You mention several coins and posted only the 72 cent. So, let me recommend here that you create separate threads for each coin so that we don't confuse which coin we are discussing.
This 72 cent has a lot of hard contact marks and is discolored on the reverse from environmental damage (such as being in a cup holder for a period of time.) None of this occurred while being made at the mint, so is considered post-mint damage. The coin is worth face value.
You mention several coins and posted only the 72 cent. So, let me recommend here that you create separate threads for each coin so that we don't confuse which coin we are discussing.

I agree with Mark, the coin is badly scarred and gouged so worth face value.

Well done getting the image posted. Posting an image of the back would be helpful.
This would appear to be intentional damage to the coin after it left the mint. On the reverse side of the coin you will probably see little bumps directly opposite the triangular holes on the obverse.
(ps. Is the 1981 Lincoln cent a proof coin?)

i agree that this 'proof coin' has been "POST MINT DAMAGED".
