1. Post a front and back image of your coin with a specific question about what you’re seeing or asking about and one coin per topic.

2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.

5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.

6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.

I believe the coin being shown is a version of this:
(I'm not claiming it is real, but giving you something to compare and search against.)

Bolivia
Felipe IV Cob Royal 8 Reales 1653 P-E, KM-R21, Lazaro-136 (R3), this is the Lazaro plate coin. 1-PH-6 above pillars.

Can't confirm without providence that the coin is a shipwreck coin. It looks alright but being encased in a bezel and looking at the images alone is not enough to be 100% on authenticity either.

In the Great Lakes?
I have an1864 Uncirc. Details from The Pewabic that was given to me by a friend.
The details of her sinking (1865) are interesting but makes you wonder "What the he** were they thinking passing that close to their sister ship?"
