1878 MORGAN Mint Error ? Letter R in PLURIBUS.

Hello, I'm the one with the silver / solder on the penny. This is a wonderful site. Could you please tell me if this is a Mint Error on this 1878 MORGAN Dollar. In the word PLURIBUS at the top of the R on the right side is high, it does not match and the letter B looks heavy bottom right. Larry.

It looks like a hit to me that's pushed the metal. What you should be looking for is if this is an 1878 CC or if it's an 1878 7-8 Tail Feathers. Can you post an image of both sides of your coins you post?

Would need to see multiple angles of the tail feathers to see if there's remnants of the 8 tail feathers. I think it's the 7 tail feathers but never can be 100% with those shadows.
