May I ask where you heard that this is "Very Rare"?

I agree, may I ask why do you determine that this coin may be rare?
This appears to be a 1913-P TY-1 Buffalo Nickel, where the mounds on the reverse is raised, unlike the Ty-2’s. That design makes that the words “FIVE CENTS” a high point of the design, which is the first place on a coin to be worn down in circulation.

The design of the buffalo nickel was a (great one but) poorly executed from the start. The first 1913s had a raised mound and wore down in circulation easily (as did the words FIVE CENTS). That is why in 1913 they changed the REV and sunk the FIVE CENTS deeper into the design. Too bad they did not do this with the date also!

There are SO many dateless/worn buffalo nickels out there b/c they were all heavily used. Back then a nickel could buy you something.

Since these worn nickels are so common (in the 60s you could still find a worn buffalo nickel in circulation without TOO much of a problem) you do not find them listed, generally, for sale online b/c worn ones all just get tossed in together. You can fnd rolls of them for sale though as people maek crafts with them or use acid to bring out the dates (considered a damaged coin).

This nickel also is a good way to learn that you will find yourself disappointed over ad over if you automatically assume something you find is rare if you do not see it listed online for sale. Youtube and the internet are full of a LOT of get rich quick finding rare coin videos and encouragement. We see the results daily here having to tell people they have not got a rare coin.

Save Yourself time, effort, and disappointment...don’t learn the coin hobby backwards.

Looking for random anomalies on coins and hoping they match up to something collectable will take you a lot more time, wasted effort, and disappointment repeatedly finding out you have nothing but post mint damage or useless machine doubling, die deterioration, etc.

Spend some initial time at places like error-ref.com, doubleddie.com, varietyvista.com, conecaonline.org, coppercoins.com etc. to find what actual and collectable coin errors look like.

A good way to start is, for instance, separate a bunch of pennies by date. Go to varietyvista.com and, date by date, use the reference there to see what errors are known for that specific coin/mint mark. Look for those specific errors/varieties using the pictures provided. After doing this for awhile you will KNOW what an actual error looks like and not have to waste time on face value and damaged coins. :)
