1943 mint condition steel penny, no mint mark. slight rotation
i also have this 1943 steel penny. It is in mint condition. the pictures dont do it justice. the penny is very shiny, never cleaned, there are no marks at all. there is a slight die rotation though. im not sure what it would be graded at or a value if any. I hate to ask but i read nead the help with coin as well. i've taken the best pictures i could at the moment. i hope they help.thank you.

This has been replated, repurposed so is damaged and not mint state.

Hey A, cleaned then plated, just like Daniel said. Also just because it is shiny doesn't mean it is MS. Read this article and look at the MS coin in the example, you will clearly see the difference.

Re: 1943 mint condition steel penny, no mint mark. slight rotation
yeah, i know about the shiny thing, i just didnt know how to say it. i have a jewlers loop so i looked for any scratches and/or marks and i didnt see any. i didnt know about the replating. thats pretty impressive how you can tell that from these terrible pictures i posted. i took a couple other ones but i guess i doesnt matter.lol. I just find so confusing how 2 coins the same and one can be worth thousands and the other face value. i am really trying to understand. i've been watching video after video trying to learn. I appreciate your help and everybody else's help as well. i have a few coins that don't look right and a few coins and bills i think are in excellent condition but i'm always missing something. I will keep watching videos and maybe i'll with catch on. I have a chance to purchase 100 1943 steel pennies all in cases but i think i'm going to pass on them until i start to understand a few things. Again, Thank you everyone for helping me out. I really appreciate it.

Die rotation is not of any interest to me, it's not something I pay attention to on damage coins or small denominations. You can look at Heritage sold auctions for what they sell for and they must be graded.

After you handle enough legit ones in MS condition, its not hard to tell from a pic.how you can tell that from these terrible pictures i posted.
