1815 Louis XVIII gold coin

#1 Unread post by Papa P »

I think these pictures are better than the ones I previously sent. I was wanting to know the value and if there are many of these coins produced or is it rare?

Thank you

The coin is worth several hundred dollars but that depends on the grade and your coin looks circulated. These are not rare, so $300 or so would be a good point of value.

Just so you know you can edit your previous post to add images so there's not double posts and cropping your images is a good idea since grade often determines value and hard to see any details in these images.

Looks to be whizzed (click on photo, the zoom.) So probably just worth the gold, or about $240.

This was posted twice or at least I think it's the same coin. It didn't look whizzed in this image so maybe two different coins. download/file.php?id=22294&mode=view
