Errors?

#1 Unread post by esalas77 » Tue Apr 04, 2017 3:41 pm

Hi all. I have been looking through more quarters and found what appears to be a 1989 with a repunched mint mark and a 1968 D, possibly with a doubled die? There seems to be some notching on the the letters of the 1968.
Thanks!

the '68 sure hugeeyes 's "DOUBLED",.....but remember, it's not a good practice to 100% confirm 'anything' from just pictures,....JMO

:eureka:
if you need me to "CONFIRM" them, w/pics too, let me know....... :w

The close up images are fine, but we also recommend posting images of the entire coin so we can look for die markers for a possible variety. PALH1 is a CONECA representative and I highly recommend his help and services he offers members of this forum.

Sorry for the late response and a the typo. The "89 is actually a 88. Just a few days ago i was reading about CONECA s variety identification. I can try to post images or the entire coins.
Thanks again !
