is this 1998 wide AM worth having graded ?

Unless the coin is going to grade MS66 or better than they're really not worth the cost of a submission, but if it's just for your collection then that would be up to you. I doubt this coin is going to achieve better than MS64, and that comes from a person who makes a study of coin grading and submitting coins to PCGS.
