1. Post a front and back image of your coin with a specific question about what you’re seeing or asking about and one coin per topic.
2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.
3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.
4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.
5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.
6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.
7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. PM’s are for issues, technical and personal, but not for coin questions (refer to number 5 on this list). Re: Fugio Cent
I wish I could help you but I don't know anyone who you could go to in your area. It would be best to sell it to a collector. Do you know how much you want for the coin?
Re: Fugio Cent
Daniel, Thanks for your fast reply. The only value I could find was in the 2013 Red book. It lists the 1787 Fugio cent with pointed rays and United States at sides of the circle on the reverse, in EF condition at $1650.00, however, it doesn't mention sub-type, ie: Newman 8-B, nor rarity, so your guess is as good as mine on value. If someone really loved it and really wanted it, I would consider their offer. I would appreciate what you think on value. Any and all imput would be helpful. Thanks again, Jack.

Re: Fugio Cent
I looked over Heritage Auctions archives and $1,300+ is most realistic for the variety but those were in PCGS holders. PCGS tends to sell for more than ANACS but I don't it wouldn't be much lower. If you can find someone to buy it for at least $1,400 I wouldn't pass on it. The market is up and down and people are looking for silver and gold coins more than Colonial Copper coins.
Re: Fugio Cent
Daniel, That sounds fair to me. I've got to say that your help has been wonderful. This site is great for people like me who don't really know where to go. I noticed that there is another spot on this site to buy/sell/trade coins. Now that I know what to ask for it, I think I will post it there, but before I do, you have been so helpful that I would like to offer it to you first. You seem like a very honest guy with great integrity, who loves what he does, so, if you are interested, please let me know. I wish I could attach a picture of it but I don't know how to do that with this format. I know how to do it with my email, so if you want a photo, email me at jjsingler@comcast.net, and I will send you some. Thanks again Daniel. Jack.
