I am new to this forum but need some assistance in identifying if a Lincoln cent has been found by anyone other than me. As I was searching through my box of cents, I came across a 1994 cent with a filled 9. I haven't come across this before. Has anyone found a penny like this in your searches?
Thanks,
Bearworf

Re: Lincoln Cent
Sounds like die chip. I'm sure I have ran across this one in all the hundreds of thousands of cents I've searched, but it is always good to have a photo to see exactly what your talking about.

Re: Lincoln Cent
Hey Bear, welcome to the forum the the website. Man there is a ton of info here. Pics do help with the id'ing coins and to help answer questions. As for a filled 9 for 1994. I don't remember the date in particular though I just went through a bunch of 90s and found a filled nice but I culled it out by accident. lol They occur during many years some more so than others. As for a 94, i cannot put my hand on one right now and really don't know if I have found one in the past anyway.
