1. Post a front and back image of your coin with a specific question about what you’re seeing or asking about and one coin per topic.
2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.
3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.
4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.
5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.
6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.
7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. PM’s are for issues, technical and personal, but not for coin questions (refer to number 5 on this list). Our community is not a soap box for complaining or drama, so please refrain from doing so here.[/size]

1968 D
Hi I'm a new to collecting and I came across this 68 D. Well I got on wexlers to check for any DD verieties. As I scrolled down I intended to hit the 68 D penny but instead my thumb accidentally hit the 68 S but I did realize it. Anyway I started to compare the coin to the image on wexlers which I thought was the 68D that I was looking at I got a little excited because I saw a match to the coin and what was presented on the website. Then I realized that I was looking at the S not the D penny. Could anyone tell me if I am correct I. Assuming that the coin errors match and if they do that would mean that it is an incorrect mint mark on the wrong penny. Like I I am new but it does look like a match to me. If so I need to get this coin arbitrated. I am new to this and maybe it's nothing but I would appreciate an opinion. Thank you

Re: 1968 D
You must post an image of your coin and all initial posts must be approved so posting multiple post is counterproductive. Thanks

Re: 1968 D
I don't seem to find an upload for images on this page. But I did post it on the forum page.
Re: 1968 D
Here are the images of the 68 with all of the markers for the coin. A die marker exists in between the 1 and 9. Also included are images of a 2005 nickel that has what I think to be a double leg. Looks like a fifth leg. I added a photo of a regular buffalo and the coin in question as a comparable reference. Thank you.
