1. Post a front and back image of your coin with a specific question about what you’re seeing or asking about and one coin per topic.

2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.

3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.

4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.

5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.

6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.

7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. Hello! New member to the forums from New Hampshire! Thanks for allowing me to join the forums!
I have been collecting coins since I was about 10 years old. Always been fascinated with older US coinage. My first love was a Barber quarter that my dad had in his collection. Since then I began my own collection. I started with a lot of foreign coinage when I was young, it was cheap and looked cool but nothing ever stood up to the old US coins.
Indian heads have always been one of my favorites as well. I love the history that coins can tell, who held them? What did these coins purchase? Did soldiers have them in their pockets during the Civil War? Coins are little pieces of art and I tend to collect lightly circulated coins because they tell a story.
As I have aged I have begun to appreciate the history more and more. I have found my niche in the coin collecting world with Early American Copper; Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Seated Liberty coins, Barber coins.
I look forward to posting pictures of coin acquisitions, and getting help from the community with other things that I do not know enough about.
Daniel I love the youtube channel, you do great work for the hobby!
Keep Collecting!
