new to coin collecting

#1 Unread post by Making Cents »

Hello everyone, first I'd like to say thank you to Daniel for your videos. They have helped me understand so much. I did not realize just how much info there is to coins. My mind is swimming in data trying to absorb all there is out there.

I'm currently collecting Lincoln Cents, chose those coins to get my feet wet, so to speak and it's relatively inexpensive. I have been coin roll hunting for about 4 months now trying to fill in the collector books from 1909 to current and have done pretty good so far. I thought since I was looking at so many coins I would also look for error coins as well. Now that i have found what I think are some I don't know what to do with them, or if they are in fact real mint errors or just junk.

So I joined this forum in hopes to get some more info and guidance.

Thanks
