Thanks for the membership. New collector from Colorado. I was shared a link with a discussion about a 1983 d penny that weighed 2.8g There was no real conclusion given. I found a 1983 d that weighs 2.8g I've tried a few other tests and not really able to tell for sure . Any help would be appreciated.

No conclusion can be drawn with and under or over weight coin, unless it is damaged and that is evident in an image. You just can't see slight weigh differences online. So you can send it to PAUL of this community to examine it and measure your coin.
